Esha Deol, the daughter of legendary Bollywood actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, has always been in the limelight. Born on November 2, 1981, Esha carries forward the legacy of one of Bollywood’s most celebrated families. From an early age, her future seemed destined for the silver screen, yet Esha made it clear that her path, though influenced by her parents’ stardom, would be carved through her own efforts.

Bollywood Debut and Early Success

Esha made her acting debut in 2002 with Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, directed by Vinay Shukla. Her performance in the film, which was a mix of drama and emotion, earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Although the film itself didn’t perform well at the box office, it marked Esha’s entry into Bollywood and demonstrated her potential to follow in her parents’ footsteps.

In the years that followed, Esha appeared in a variety of films, including the ensemble action thriller Dhoom (2004), which catapulted her to fame. Playing the role of a daring biker chick in the film, Esha showed her versatility and ability to take on bold, unconventional roles. In 2012, Esha took a step back from Bollywood after her marriage to businessman Bharat Takhtani. However, she continued to stay connected to the industry, occasionally appearing in public events and television. Esha also embraced her role as a mother, giving birth to two daughters, Radhya and Miraya, in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

Recent Projects and Legacy

In 2019, Esha made a comeback with a short film titled Cakewalk, where she played the role of a chef balancing personal and professional challenges. The film received positive reviews, reminding audiences of her acting prowess.
