One of his earliest notable performances came in Rockstar (2011), where he played the character of Khatana, a college canteen manager and a mentor to the protagonist. Mishra’s subtle yet impactful performance garnered attention, and he became a familiar face in mainstream cinema.

Following this, Mishra continued to deliver critically acclaimed performances in films like Raanjhanaa (2013), Airlift (2016), and Sultan (2016). His ability to slip into characters with ease made him a favorite among filmmakers who needed an actor to bring sincerity and realism to their stories. Whether playing an empathetic government officer or a tough mentor, Mishra’s characters are always grounded in reality.
