Atre’s acting career took off when she made her debut in the television serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2006), where she played Palchhin Basu, a pivotal role that introduced her to Indian audiences. From there, she appeared in several popular TV shows such as Kasturi (2007), Do Hanson Ka Jodaa (2010), and Chidiya Ghar (2014), showcasing her range as an actress in both dramatic and comedic roles.

Shubhangi Atre’s career-defining moment came in 2016 when she was cast as Angoori Bhabhi in the hit sitcom Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! She took over the role from Shilpa Shinde and made it her own with a fresh interpretation of the beloved character. Angoori Bhabhi, known for her innocence, catchphrase “Sahi Pakde Hain,” and comic interactions with the other characters, became an instant hit with viewers.
